‘There are no problems, only solutions', very neatly sums up Darren’s can-do attitude and approach to school leadership. Having been part of the leadership team that led Great Yarmouth Charter Academy from 'Special Measures' to 'Good', he is now proudly serving Cromer Academy and is adamant that the town be proud of its pupils and that the pupils be proud of their town. 

Darren believes that school culture is the single biggest driver of raising achievement, where positive relationships are developed in every interaction. He vehemently believes that manners and respect are taught to all pupils and modelled by staff at all times. It is these most important attributes that will make pupils stand out for all of the right reasons. He fully recognises and appreciates the importance of the Cromer community and is excited to be part of a true community school.
