Exciting news! After the success of 2022’s musical, Jane Austen College, Hewett Academy, and Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form College are collaborating once again to proudly present the much-loved family-favourite ‘Annie’ the musical at the Walter Roy Theatre, from the 9th-11th February 2023. 

Based on the cartoon strip - Little Orphan Annie, this well-known musical tells a Depression-era rags-to-riches story of an orphan who yearns to escape from the horrible orphanage where she resides. 

Students from all year groups at Jane Austen College, Hewett Academy, and Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form are busy rehearsing and the show is already looking and sounding great! Performing with a professional set, sound and lighting, and accompanied by a fantastic orchestra made of both staff and students, this is such an incredible enrichment experience for our students.
